More ivy and vines begin to grow, twining all over it.
+ THE PLANTS
In roughly a foot-wide circle around where you used the token, the vines and ivy wither on the wall.
+ ANY OF THE FIGURES
Fiery lines appears, tracing an image over the figurine. A young woman in miniature, with her arms outstretched and a pleading expression on her face. She's in a heavy dress, with long straight hair. She's very pretty, and looks a little like Firebird.
You hear sweet, inhuman singing.
+ MUSIC NOTE PAPERS
The notes on the papers glow red. A tune plays in your head--rollicking, wild, a little bit dark.
+ APPLE (WITH WORM IN)
THE APPLE EXPLODES. There is suddenly a monstrous white worm filling the cabinet--it smells of rotten fruit. It starts to ooze in your direction.
(YOU CAN FIGHT THE WORM BUT IT WORKS LIKE THE SNAKE DID)
+ APPLE (WORMLESS)
You grow a tree in the house.
+ WORM
The worm starts to grow! Into . . . something that is not a worm at all. It is a perfect skeleton of a snake, about three feet long, the bones strung together with copper wire. In the middle of the long ribcage is wired a copper needle.
+ CAT OR BIRD SKELETON
It shatters into pieces, every bone coming apart. The wire has melted. Drops of molten copper fall--some on your hands, burning hot.
+ COPPER HEART
Fiery veins begin to branch out from the heart, weaving together to form an image. You are holding a cat made out of fire. It's not burning you. It's purring.
+ COPPER FEATHER
Fiery veins begin to branch out from the feather, weaving together to form an image. You are holding a small songbird made out of fire. It's not burning you. It's tilting its head from side to side to get a look at you, chirping.
+ THE HIDDEN DOOR
Writing carves itself into the door. HE RODE IN SEARCH OF
+ THE DARKNESS!11
There is a brilliant flash. You find yourself back in the central room. Your head hurts.
