The garden outside is a lovely herb garden, everything laid out in meticulous plots and growing, healthy.

There is a large black hawk hunched in the middle of it, in an aggressive pose. Seated in front of it, tail swishing calmly, is a white cat. They both have blue eyes, and appear to be engaged in a staring contest, though they break it off when you come in.
