[MEMORY # 62 (SIGNIFICANT NEGATIVE)]

* "Can you bring my sister back, Lord of All Monsters?"

Won from Game 146: Columbine and Hatter's carnival.

Set at some point after the world is split in two, Origin is sealed away, and Kratos has recovered somewhat from the strain of the ritual. Mithos hasn't made any particular moves yet, but he's out and about, waiting for the worlds to settle down enough that he can start putting his plans into action.

Ratatosk finds him. Mithos isn't expecting to be confronted by any of the Summon Spirits and it takes him off guard. Ratatosk is scared and furious and weakened and betrayed; nothing Mithos has promised in his summoner's vows is coming to pass. The Tree is dead, the Seed is in stasis and Mithos is not making any moves to get it to grow, the worlds are crazy, monsters and mana links have been thrown out of balance and twisted into a horrible new shape and purpose. He demands an explanation and calls Mithos a traitor.

Mithos is too far gone to care, and rejects Ratatosk to Ratatosk's face; he calls the Eternal Sword to hand as a blatant threat and tells Ratatosk to get lost if he can't help him. Ratatosk promises that Mithos will pay for this and disappears, to boobytrap the Derris Emblem/the Ginnunggagap and to eventually go to sleep in his core state until Richter and Aster wake him up centuries later.

+ So basically 'Emil is Ratatosk' is coming up in Aather soon and that'll be fun. v('-')v
