[MEMORY # 26 (SIGNIFICANT NEUTRAL)]
Sep. 15th, 2011 09:56 pm* Giving his party's 'memories' life to guard Niflheim.
Won from Game 68: Costumes for Jacobi.
Niflheim, in Symphonia, is a shadow world full of demons who want to break out and take over the actual world! It's accessible two ways: the Ginnunggagap gateway (guarded by Ratatosk), and a book. Lloyd's party finds the book in the first game, travels through Niflheim, and encounters/fights memory constructs of Mithos, Kratos and Yuan at the end before destroying the book--video and transcripts of that here.
Mithos's memory is set 4000 years before that! It's of encountering the book during his journey towards Ratatosk's Tree. He wanted to go through and destroy the book himself, but his party simply didn't have enough time to spare! So he hung back for a day or so to make some failsafe guardian constructs. Because. No one told him you couldn't do that kind of thing, I guess.
+ 100 demon world/Niflheim knowledge!
+ 80 awful sense of urgency except of course he knows how things panned out from other memories. But holy shit, being in such a rush he couldn't spare time for Tales game sidequests? THAT IS TERRIBLE
+ And then my exes were Personae and my children were magical copies of the origiparty. And a unicorn.
+ Knowledge of how to make constructs out of people's memories (though powercap and lack of skills will permanently prevent this in Aather.)
+ 20 what is my life!
+ 100 hilarity since Lloyd has the matching memory to this.
