squirreledaway this involves Ratatosk cockblocking the party from going after a monster and being like >( IT'S JUST A BABY DON'T ATTACK IT IT'S SCARED YOU ASSHOLES at the party...c-cute...
+ idk little headcanon skit RATATOSK TSUNS AND IS CRANKY AND MISTRUSTFUL AT MITHOS'S PARTY and then he does something really cute and the Yggdrasil siblings call him on it and then he TSUNS SOME MORE IN RESPONSE OH NO!
+ confirmation that he was for sure pacted to Ratatosk once! Though he hasn't yet received the memory of that yet, or the nature of his own pact, which is why he is a bit (unsure) about Emil's and its split personality effect.
+ bittersweetness -- Ratatosk is confirmed alive and he and Mithos will move on somehow, but their previous relationship can't ever be reclaimed. He feels this for every Summon Spirit but Ratatosk was definitely one he was very close to/most invested in, because of course an integral part of saving the world was saving Ratatosk's tree.
