Firebird is a soulping for Spitfire. He adores her a lot and would just about anything for her. Really, that's about it. His feelings where she's concerned are pretty simple. She just makes him super happy when she's around.
Who on Iolite gives Mithos the dangerdanger pings?
Vincent and Temeraire and Kyouko when she was around. Kyouko threw rocks at him once :'D They're not specifically dangerous pings, just a sense that these people's priorities are very different from his and it could get sticky.
Puzzle games and creative games, I guess. Creative being games in which something is made. I really don't have much of a preference except that I struggle sometimes with games that don't have a specific set of things to do in them (like most of the heart games) or games where it's not very clear what the intention of the game is. I usually still have fun in them, but I always feel a little uncomfortable because I don't know what I'm supposed to be doing. :/
I have one that I'd like to app, but I'm also lazy about actually fleshing out the character design and figuring out some of the quirks. (Also, uninspired due to the apps being closed.) But yeah, I would be interested in apping one sometime.
How's Mithos doing after his heart game? (I am admitting that I haven't read through it or any of the fall out yet so >_>;; )
Mithos is . . . mostly all right. He vanished into Firebird's realm with Lloyd to deal with the aftermath -- it wasn't so much that people went around smashing things in his heart as he's been under a lot of pressure and due for a breakdown already and a lot of actions taken in there either removed the barriers on the breakdown or made it worse. He went and was weepy and useless for like a day but then he talked it out and got over it relatively fast and then they spent the rest of their time there derpsploring.
He knows someone died/got hurt in there so he has to talk to KK about it; he also got his sense of remorse badly weakened for a while, so he is not feeling bad about anything he does . . . that'll be fun . . .
I'm working on setting one up... except it's panning out to be kind of huge .-.;; I've also never really run a game or a heart so it will be interesting. (I only had one person in Cherry's heart, and a definite goal in mind, and BY FAR less complexity because he only had like... 10 memories at the time and most of them were toss aways) SO IT WILL BE INTERESTING, but yeah... the set up is going to be huge and I"m going to have to find someone to run around in it for a while before I can figure out if it's actually feasable to run it the way it is. Spit's heart is ... simple and complex with a lot of failsafes and back ups. It will... be really interesting. I'll probably need to talk it out with someone before too much longer and just \o/;;;;;;;
What's the hardest part about running a heartgame for you?
Prewriting :'D I am That Person who runs a lot of AU heartgames and I have gotten super used to making things up on the spot and having a player in there all the time to be my interactive sounding board. BUT I have no choice but to prewrite a game if I'm going to be running it for multiple players -- it's not fair to them for me to wing it and then take like fifteen minutes to make something up every time someone enters a new room.
Spitfire... doesn't actually understand romance. It's really this foreign concept to him. He has this vague idea that people who fall in love will only end up getting hurt (from his first memory back in Aather), and he doesn't want to hurt anyone or be hurt. So it's just... easier to not let himself fall in love. It's not a perfect plan, but that's kind of his plan. There's definitely some people in Aather that he could easily claim to be in love with, but he... doesn't understand why he would, and saying it would make it easy for them to hurt him (lol Raven lol). Plus... it wouldn't really change anything. The feelings are still there, and what does it matter what they get called.
Romance is confusing. :(
