*you're back on the island of Mithos's heart, on the dirt path through the meadow. the sky's still clouded and glassy, but it's no longer storming: you've arrived in the middle of a sunshower.

the freestanding door is there in its pool. the surrounding fog has thinned to translucence -- you can see a couple of large, four-legged shapes moving in it.*

[okay. returning to the pillar.]

Mmhm. I, ah, was really sleepy last time you were in here.

I could tell. You were that fuzzball?

It's really good for sleeping on people with. This is me for real though.

Of course you like being fuzzy.

[smiles a bit.]

What was going down on there? With the cage and everything—

Haa . . . the lake is guilt, and he's the Resolution of this heart. What he does is sort it out so it doesn't break things down like it used to.

[brotagonist]

Resolution's in a cage?

[antreegonist]

He told you it was a leftover, right? That was the shape of Regret.

[brotagonist]

...oh. That makes sense.

[antreegonist]

*sheepish*

Stuff like that you don't think about so much, so it doesn't get changed . . . we didn't realize it might not go over so well during Dream's games.

[brotagonist]

Well, who expects to have people wandering around in their hearts anyway...

[antreegonist]

*flops down, a smile tugging the corners of his mouth*

I dunno. After tonight, I might.

I really dunno how this— it still seems kinda like a dream.
