Firebird is doing . . . Firebirdly. There is a place she is going to that is shaped by her interactions with heroes so far but also by driving circumstances. She is not okay but she is not okay in a way that was coming for a while, if that makes sense. Firebird, inasmuch as she can be touched by things, was touched by Kit's offer and won't forget it.

Did Kit draw any conclusions about Firebird from the test she ran for him?

MOST OF WHAT I SAID IN OUR LAST RELATIONSHIP MEME THING STILL APPLIES! Uhhh a notable change is that Mithos has gently settled into a conscious pattern of just. Being stubborn as fuck at Sasuke whenever he wants to make a point or get Sasuke to modify his behavior to something healthier or just generally keep him from doing something really stupid. He is still a listener and not as much of a judger as he could be but he has discovered that for some people you help best sometimes by butting heads with them and refusing to be the one who gives way.

He is also really worried about the Uchihas. God that was a traumatic heart for everybody.

HAHA oh god I don't know. Seth is a bit of a chameleon character; I could see her going on any team with relatively few problems (she'd also be a great knight, but I already play a knight and I want her in a position where she can isolate herself less.) 99% of her memories involve playing a role(s) and acting a part(s) so she can, to a certain extent, pick and choose what traits she wants to develop to fit into the dynamic of whichever team she winds up on.

Mithos loves pasta! Mithos actually loves food in general; he can sometimes have snooty chef standards and he tolerates large amounts of sweet stuff poorly but otherwise he will just inhale what is on the table.

...IN POSSIBLY MORE RELEVANT NEWS Mithos got super fond of Pascal super quick aaaahhh. Pascal has just been really earnest and adorablawkward and honest around Mithos a-and he can't help but respond well to that! CUDDLE PRACTICE. Also Pascal's warning about having an alternate personality is an oh noooo obviously. He actually needs to check on Amethyst in general once he stops being flattened by heart fallout and Chance's quest. He's worried about Ryner, worried about Pascal, and needs to see if Pascal still wants those sword lessons.

A few, yus! Mostly about her current state, i.e. that she is Not Okay and that something is stewing in a not good way, which really worries him. It also solidified his view on her as a Persona who isn't necessary benevolent in that "Oh I will never send you somewhere where you may get hurt" way, but rather one who recognizes danger and can even provide danger, but at least lets the Heroes choose whether or not they want to partake in it (which is why he doesn't hold his injuries against her at all, since those were all his fault and his risks). The rest of it was just a reiteration of what he already suspected based on previous interactions with her: that she is also a Persona who values freedom and the breaking of bindings but may be having some issuessss with that (which he assumed from the hunting/chase scenes + bird cage themes he keeps seeing with her), and it's maybe those issues that are causing her to be less okay now than she was before. He probably wouldn't be surprised if she ran a more dangerous game at this point, but he also wouldn't hold it against her, either. He still doesn't really understand a lot about her, but he is trying!

Tell me about Mithos and Van! How exactly does Mithos see his fellow Tales of villain?

Uhhh HE HAS A LOT! His registry is super fat. 'Important stuff' for Mithos comes less as individual memories and more as sets of memories that tell him something specific about his life, and he has back most of those. Ummm.

That he and his sister got exiled from their village - known, not received
That he tried to save the world by pacting with spirits and almost succeeded - received
That his sister died and he went crazy because of it four thousand years ago - known, not received
That he fucked up everything, chopped the world in half, and broke his promises to the spirits to try and save her - received
That he actually did have the means to save her but failed to do it because he didn't believe in himself enough - not received
That he built a religion centered around genetically engineering people and making them lose their souls to be vessels for his sister - known, not received
That he ran torture camps to the end goal of everyone either being dead or turned into a soulless emotionless being - received
That he killed Lloyd's mother because he was crazy possessive of Lloyd's father - r...received
That he infiltrated Lloyd's party and got poked in the squishy feelings by them a lot and then betrayed them - received
That Martel was aware of his actions the whole time and rejects him when he does revive her successfully - not received
That he basically forced Lloyd's party to kill him to save the world - Lloyd has received this, Mithos hasn't
That after his death he became the Great Tree that bound the worlds back together - not received

...yeah. He's gotten a lot of bombs back and he has some more to go. As far as 'completely terrible unforgivable crimes he committed' he basically knows what all of them are now, though, so there should at least not be any more explosions of that particular emotionally/morally nasty flavor.

Haha it's not really a split personality, that's just what he/Amethyst thinks it is.

This Syaoran is actually a clone created through magic of the original Syaoran, except he was created without a heart (which seems to mean the capacity to forge relationships and feel emotions and even physical pain :|a). And there was apparently a directive to obey his creator + search for the feathers no matter what built in there.

AND THEN the original Syaoran was like "oh shit son this is bad" and split his own heart in half and sealed one half into the copy's eye (which is actually why he's blind in one eye).

And then the clone grew up and basically that borrowed half of a heart was like a crutch for him to build his own relationships and the capacity to feel things. Until the seal breaks which causes him to lose connection to his own 'heart' as well and he reverts to default factory settings and kills lots of stuff.

So basically that's it! His 'heart' overrides what he was created to be so if it gets lost/disconnected/out of touch/whatever things get a little special.

I am also super not canon-familiar, but I know Mithos is supposed to be the villain so... how does that work??? He seems so nice and friendly 8|a

CORAL - some awkward, finds a place for himself after some fudging
RUBY - feels super isolated and out of place
CITRINE - probably gets along okay, but notably hangs out with Kurei more than the shounen half of the team
CARNELIAN - feels super isolated and out of place
TIGER'S EYE - some awkward, finds a place for himself after some fudging
PERIDOT - ...has nothing against the team, but eventually asks to be moved again because after Emil gets certain memories living in close proximity to Mithos will be Not Safe
EMERALD - ...actually fits in okay, due to familiarity
TURQUOISE - feels super isolated and out of place
SAPPHIRE - PRETTY AWKWARD but squashes in eventually
IOLITE - feels super isolated and out of place, fights with the rest of the team a lot
AMETHYST - PRETTY AWKWARD but squashes in eventually
KUNZITE - PRETTY AWKWARD but squashes in eventually, probably gets along with them okay after a while

In general though while he'd fit all right onto a couple of the teams and their dynamics, he's been a knight too long and he's developed fully into a character type pretty much meant to be a free/individual agent. He likes the teams and he gets along okay with folks on every team, but he would chafe on any one of them and feel super lost and disoriented and like an intruder.

What teams could you see Yuuya going on besides Coral?

hummm good question. WHILE THE TEAM OF PRETTY PRETTY LIARFACES IS PERFECT uhm... He could also go on... Tiger's Eye? Due to essentially being a mascot character? Or Emerald because Yuuya getting smashed on drankberries would be the most amazing thing!!

I ANSWERED THIS AT LENGTH ON A DIFFERENT MEME. I should also add that talking to Van can sometimes trigger Mithos's murderous temper, because that...that is just a thing that happens...but he keeps a hard grip on himself.

If you smush Nanaki and Sakuya together you get something pretty close to Mithos's canon character, so he would be some sort of impossible quail/fantail crossbreed which fits in with his whole half-blood schtick. COO
