A LOTTTT a lot a lot Natsume is one of two people Mithos gathers in and makes a habit out of very motherhenningly motherhenning because they like it/need it somewhere/respond to it very well. That dynamic with him is also pretty unique, usually Mithos gently shoves or is a bad feels sponge in the other person's direction . . . it's pretty different for him to push someone to open up by volunteering his own past experiences. There is a lot of dere there, more openness than there was before our last thread, and just. He loev Natsume okay.

Mithos is one of the very, very few people that Natsume absolutely trusts in Aather. And I mean, it's not like he trusts some others any less, mind you. It's more like . . . he is so comfortable with Mithos that he actually feels like he can ASK Mithos things about his life and not feel like a total hindrance when he does. He feels like he can be involved and not have to be ashamed about it! It's really really important because whenever Mithos answers one of Natsume's questions, it means that Natsume gets to know through these actions that Mithos does indeed trust him! Which gives him a sense of importance.

HE LOVES MITHOS A LOT. I know I lump Mithos and Lloyd together because they happen to be on that same tier of comfort, but the way Natsume is comfortable with Mithos is actually very opposite of Lloyd. Lloyd is the one that he looks up to and can be grumpy and just loosen up around! Kind of like a weird puppy version of Nyanko-sensei maybe? But with Mithos, it's very much COMFORT and REASSURANCE. A safety blanket almost! He feels very very safe and not threatened. I mean, it's not like Lloyd makes him feel threatened either mind you! But he'll definitely compare those comfort levels against the ones he feels with Mithos.

AND NOW after that conversation, he feels like Mithos relates to him a LOT which brings up that comfort level even FURTHER. There are definitely key differences between the two of course, but knowing what Mithos had in HIS past was enough to make Natsume realize that he too was lonely and having that sort of connection is important.

Basically if Mithos was booked right now, Natsume would feel so much discomfort, it would feel like something was ripped out of his heart and his body language would be very stiff and uncomfortable. He loves yooooooooou.

What is a thing Mithos would like to know most about Natsume?

What else he can do for Natsume to get him to relaaax a little more around people in general. Mithos is pretty gentle with Natsume because Natsume doesn't hide things well anyway but every time Natsume goes all quiet and hunches up he's like (sadpusheen)?
