“But you do,” says Mithos behind you. He's a tired, steady voice in your ear, a light hand on your shoulder. “I don't know what Dream's thinking, but everyone is welcome here in my heart; just keep in mind it's a real mess right now.”

Your vision clears.

It's using various monsters as examples, but there are side notes for how to hypothetically do the same to people.

Quite...quite a lot. It's hard to count them precisely; the number seems to fluctuate.

But once you start helping, they seem to be put away at an oddly fast pace...

He indicates a direction at right angles from where you came in . . . if you peer through the multitude of shelves you can just about make out a corridor onwards.
