[LLOYD AND MITHOS'S ROOM]
Their room, as of Camelot's realm, is at the very end of the hall of rooms, and on the right side. The nameplate on the door has both their names on it.
The basic knight room description has "a comfortable twin bed, a small wardrobe, a cloth-covered table-stand, a dresser mounted with a mirror, and its own fireplace that always stays lit (unless you don't want it to.)" Their room is larger than regular knight bedrooms -- they asked Beauty to fuse theirs together a long time ago -- and has a single window, insulated and sunk deep into the wall. The view is not terribly exciting right now, of course. As of Gerda's game, there is one queen-sized and extremely comfortable bed with a handmade quilt on top. Their fireplace was also upgraded into the auto-heating adjustable kind that keeps the whole room bright and hot.
There are two knight trunks at the foot of the bed, a couch they stole from Sterling's common room in the Forest way back when, and a work area: a large set of shelves combined with a long two-man desk and a cabinet. Two chairs are pushed up to the desk. Between the couch and the work area is a giant pile of pillows, cushions, and a few stuffed toys won from various games.
The walls are currently blank but for strings of tiny, bright teardrop-shaped lights, very much like Christmas lights. Anyone who's seen their room in previous realms will have gotten a look at some pretty cool paintjobs, though: assorted and haphazard fantasy creatures/landscapes in Beauty's Forest; an underwater grotto with robot whales in Three's Cove; a lush forest with the sky behind it showing different times of day on every wall (noon, dusk, dawn, night) in Wonderland. Who knows what they'll put down in Camelot...?
There is a dreamcatcher hung on the headboard of their bed. Carved wooden animal mobiles hang from the ceiling. Sewing, carving, and wirework projects litter the work area, along with a couple of sketchbooks. There is a miniature jewelry forge, heatproof work surface, and metalworking tools. The shelves hold various accumulated knickknacks and a few books (one on construction, one on metalwork, one on weaving, one on knitting patterns/projects, one on glassblowing, and the last simply a book of stories about heroes.)
In one corner of the room, a sun lamp (that is, a spiral of hanging jars literally filled with sunshine) hangs from a ceiling hook. Arranged underneath it are a windowbox (planted with growing basil, parsley, chives, sage, oregano, mint, cardoons, and a couple of fandalia plants), and three very unusual terrariums:
+ A tiny forest -- includes a miniature river, birds, squirrels and deer. Is in fact a tiny piece of Beauty's realm. Self-sustaining.
+ A tiny farm -- miniature barn, pond, and grove of fruit-bearing orange trees. Also some bright blue sheep the size of pillbugs and a couple of correspondingly larger purple ponies. Somewhat self-sustaining, though feed has to be put in for the added animals.
+ A tiny, beflowered mountain meadow with a cave network underneath. Miniature butterflies in the meadow; miniature fireflies in the caves; a couple of tiny baby sloths in the trees that fence the meadow; miniature blackberry bushes to provide some sloth food. Mostly self-sustaining, but the sloths need to be checked up on and fed other things sometimes.
The room's kept clean and mostly tidy (or, in the work area's case, an organized mess) but it does look quite lived-in; they've made a genuine home out of it and modified it to suit their tastes quite a bit. They have plans to build an attached bathroom onto their room in the near future!
