OH NO IT'S TIME FOR A SELF-INDULGENT EXPERIMENT
Hypothetical heart relationship meme! Comment here with one of our relationships and I will create a heart room/area for you on the spot symbolizing that specific relationship.* You can play in it ala typical heartgame exploration threads! LIKE AN INTERACTIVE RELATIONSHIP ESSAY BECAUSE I HAVE A HARD TIME WRITING REAL ONES ALL IN ONE GO.
OR, if you don't feel like exploradoraing, say so and I'll give you a general description plus a quick rundown of the symbolism. |Db /easy
I play Lark/Timi on Tiger's Eye and Mithos on Sterling!
* I may use bits of these hypothetical rooms later, but chances are these relationships will be represented very differently in real heartgames.

In the scant space between them is the chair Mitchell spends most of his time tied to now. It's tangled in impossible amounts of red silk red thread, all over. Most of the threads are broken--ripped apart, not cut. More thread is scattered over the floor and beneath the beds.
On one bunk lies a Tiger's Eye key. The name MITCHELL is engraved on it. Beneath that bunk you also find some scattered pages. If you gather them together you will find part of TIGER'S EYE'S BOOK OF HAPPY THINGS.
The temperature continually shifts: too hot, too cold, too hot, too cold, always changing before you can get used to it. There's a feeling of intense claustrophobia. There are haphazard scratches all around the bottom of the door, like something tried very violently to get out.

There's no manifestation of Lark in the room--it successfully escaped, so she's not trapped in ALL THE BAD FEELINGS for him anymore. While she was really angry with/scared of him, the manifestation was tied to the chair with the red thread. It was a struggle to get it out, though, and it caused some damage.
A lot of the potential changes that could be made to this room are positive--you can stabilize the temperature, expand the walls out again, open the window and door to air it out, etc. Because her relationship with Mitchell is quite fixable! There's no way to clear the claw damage, though--she'll never not be at least a little wary of him.

ETA: description + rundown is fine!

The table groans under the weight of the food laid on it--there is a VERITABLE FEAST there.
Josh's key lies on his pillow; it has CHAMPION carved into it, and is strung on a loop of red silk thread. Touch it and a burst of feelings hits you: a surge of extreme trust, security and affection! a little bit of motherhenning! and a feeling like gosh should I cook him an extra plate, he's always hungry! A soft thread of loss is wound up with those feelings, but it's dim and hard to notice.
If you open the cabinet from Mother Goose's game you find TIGER'S EYE'S BOOK OF HAPPY THINGS. Some extra pages have been added to the back. Written on one in a childish scrawl is FAMILY; on the second CHAMPION; on the third WARMTH; on the fourth ALSO HOME. There are no illustrations to accompany them, just random smatterings of pawprints.

I THINK MOST OF THIS IS SELF-EXPLANATORY ACTUALLY but ask me if you have questions.

In the clearing is a little wooden house with an Emerald-green door, somewhat smaller than a team cabin. There's something strange about the house: if you look closely, you can the grain of the wood shifting and forming distinct images, there and gone again a second later. Fat cats and rabbits are prevalent.
It's very dark when you step in. There's a gentle wash of feeling. A base note of responsibility. Sadness, and affection, and uncertainty mingled with a wish to reach out. It's hopeful stuff, overall.
Your footsteps echo loudly; so does your voice if you call out.
Despite the strangeness of the echoes, if you feel around you realize that the house is of normal dimensions. It's empty, but for something cool and flat hung on the back wall. As soon as you touch it, it glows softly blue--it's a small mirror, round, about the size of your hand.
You hear Mithos's voice. "Will you...?" But it fades. That's all to be found in there, for now.

Yeah it's mostly dere for Natsume while still not knowing exactly how to approach him, and worry that Natsume is lonely, layered on top of the baseline protective feelings he has for Emerald. The trees are the representation of Mithos here, and because he hasn't established a DEEP TRUST BASE with Natsume yet, Natsume can't see his presence clearly either.
I'm not sure a room like this is very changeable inside a heart unless Natsume decides to reach out and have honest feelings all over seemingly inanimate objects. And not punch them.

You are in Sterling cave, or someplace like it. Beauty's coffin is certainly in the middle, but it's empty. Her book is laid on top. A lot of doors are missing: there are only fifteen cedar ones and the large silver one to the kitchen.
It's very quiet, very peaceful-feeling--you may find it hard to break the silence. The ribbark is curled up near the entrance, fast asleep.

ALSO IF NOT. has firebird been visiting elliot daily AS ORDERED and how is she doing?
no subject
She's been dropping by! Just kind of--flitting around. Never at the same time as the previous day, but for Elliot she is making an effort to remember that OH YEAH TIME PASSES LET'S NOT DISAPPEAR FOR WEEKS. She's stopped shedding ash and feathers and she doesn't seem as ill, but it's obvious something is still not quite right.
