Kit does not think Coral, in general, is a team that is suited for Aather's trauma games. It's not that they aren't strong-- he believes they are incredibly, especially with how they carry on in the face of traumatic things and always keep their chins up. It's just that most of them are so normal or squishy that he is like "WHY ARE YOU HERE GO AWAY DON'T PLAY THIS GAME DD8" (The exception to this is Rabbit, whom he would allow to do terrible things alongside him because he knows she can take it). It kind of puts him in a position where he believes that when things get dangerous and Rabbit isn't around, he needs to be the one to take charge and keep himself levelheaded and calm so he can make decisions or the benefit of Coral (he has progressed from recklessly trying to suggest self-sacrifice to calculatedly playing to keep Coral safe). This was the most evident in Jabber's most recent game where he sucked in a deep breath and suggested a strategy to minimize damage across teams, and it wasn't until endgame when he saw the results where he actually freaked out himself, sob. But even that was muted by him going around to usher team tinies away from the carnage and trying to keep them from freaking out too.

Essentially, Kit still has MUST PROTECT CORAL FEELS and that includes protecting Coral's squishier members from BAD THINGS in whatever way possible. This also includes keeping himself calm under pressure and not allowing himself to break even when he wants/needs to, which leads to internalizing everything which leads to a lot of internal pressure that is exacerbated by external pressure and will eventually lead to something terrible. It also leads to him taking on a lot of responsibility that should really be shared between everyone. He's slooowly starting to realize he needs to let his team weigh in on these decisions instead of just recklessly choosing for himself at least (WHICH PROGRESS, HE IS BECOMING LESS DUMB), but he still has a tendency to barge on ahead of the others in things like this.

Tell me about Mithos's views on the Personae in the wake of Mother's game!

Kit is fed up with the "roles" thing as well and wants to completely shatter that, though unlike Mithos he wants to break it for the heroes and knights much more than he does the Personae (but he doesn't have an overall fondness for the Personae-- he really likes Firebird and gets along with a few others, but beyond that is generally suspicious and frustrated and bitter at them). So if there was one thing he could change in Aather, it would be that! As he understands it, being a "hero" in Aather essentially means "playing games and sacrificing yourself for the Personae despite what you really want," and that frustrates him. So he wants to break out of that role and forge one for himself-- one that he actually chose and one that lets him come up with his own rules, instead of being bound by the roles and rules of Aather. He is pretty sure the heroes and knights would be able to help the Personae a lot more if they were able to do their own thing for once.

Why did Mithos decide to sub-patron with Kiriko? :o?
